Fernando Blanco is a knight in Obedience in the Order of Malta, currently serving on the Board of Councillors for the national organization. He is also a trustee of The Catholic Foundation in Dallas and a parishioner of Prince of Peace Catholic Community in Plano. He keeps an active prayer life and is a spiritual director, guiding retreatants in the “Spiritual Exercises” of St. Ignatius. Blanco resides in Plano with his wife Angela. Their son Gabriel is a senior at Jesuit Dallas College Preparatory School and volunteers in the activities of the Order of Malta. Blanco is the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer of CHRISTUS Health.
