Rebecca Hammel earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Indiana State University, a master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Butler University, and received her Ph.D. in Catholic Education Leadership and Policy from The Catholic University of America.
Hammel serves as Superintendent of the Diocese of Dallas Catholic Schools after serving as superintendent of schools for the Diocese of Nashville since 2018. She has been involved in Catholic education for more than 30 years, serving as a teacher, principal, and administrator.
