Prior to joining the leadership team at Bishop Lynch High School, Chris Rebuck worked at St. John Catholic School in Ennis, where he served as assistant principal/athletic director from 2002-2004 and then principal from 2004-2008. He began his career in education as a teacher and a coach in 1998 at St. Michael the Archangel School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in the Diocese of Allentown.
Growing up, Rebuck attended Catholic schools in the Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina, and completed his undergraduate studies at DeSales University and his graduate studies at the University of Dallas. He completed an executive certificate in nonprofit management at the University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management; has participated in the Boston College Emmaus Leadership post-graduate program for Leadership and School Administration; and has completed the Integral Leadership Program with Stagen.
Rebuck is a true believer in Catholic education as a product of the parochial system himself, as president of Bishop Lynch, and as a parent of three children enrolled in Catholic schools. Rebuck, his wife, Melony, and their daughters are active members at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
As an active community volunteer, Rebuck serves on the Ferguson Road Initiative Board and is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 799. He also serves on the parish pastoral council for St. Patrick Catholic Church.
