Deacon Robert (Bob) McDermott, PE, is a registered professional engineer in Texas and numerous other states. He is currently CEO of a top 200 Engineering/Architectural firm with multiple offices throughout the United States. He has a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of Connecticut, a master of science in structural engineering from Lehigh University, an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management, and three certificates from the University of Dallas, Ann and Joe O. Neuhoff Institute for Ministry and Evangelization. He was a 2018 inductee into the UCONN Academy of Distinguished Engineers. He has been serving the St. Rita Catholic Community since his ordination in June 2018. Deacon McDermott and his wife, Kathy, have five children and seven grandchildren.
