Chantal Nguyen, born in Vietnam and a refugee to the U.S. in 1975, grew up in Dallas and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her work experience began in property tax and banking, transitioning to telecommunications information technology for 20 years. She now provides imperative administrative support for the City of Richardson’s Police Department. Married with three children, Nguyen has obtained various ministry certificates and volunteers extensively, including teaching catechism and participating in community outreach programs at homeless shelters, children’s advocacy centers, and nursing homes. She enjoys reading, biking, cooking, gardening, and international travel, which enriches her understanding of different cultures and Church history. Nguyen has a compassionate heart, advocating and caring for her family, community, and friends. She values living fully and being grateful for life’s blessings.
