Jason Deuterman

As the executive director of the OSV Institute for Catholic Innovation, Jason Deuterman endeavors to champion a Church on mission that is more curious, more empathetic, more creative, and tenacious enough to take more risks for the sake of the Gospel.

Since joining OSV in 2021, Jason has leveraged over 18 years of experience in nonprofit and church-oriented innovation strategy and impact design with parishes, dioceses, universities, and non-profit organizations around the country and internationally.

Prior to joining OSV, Deuterman served as the director of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministries for the Catholic Diocese of Dallas. His work with parishes, schools, and college campuses focused on aligning ministry practices with a growth-minded impact strategy, all while increasing creativity, agility, and responsiveness in leaders and volunteer networks.

Deuterman holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, a master’s degree from the University of Dallas, and certifications in innovation, human-centered design, and change management. He serves on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations serving various missions, including supportive housing and the arts. Outside of his work, you’ll likely find Deuterman either in the gym training or with the most important loves of his life—his bride, Allison, and their three beautiful children.
