Julie Billmeier has worked and volunteered in ministries in the Diocese of Dallas for over 16 years, including working in parish youth ministry for one year and coordinating diocesan young adult ministry for five years. She also led a family faith formation pilot program for St. Rita Catholic Community, where she, her husband, Adam, and their four children are parishioners. Billmeier served as the secretariat of the Synod Preparatory Commission and worked with the Synod Assembly Team for the 2024 Diocese of Dallas Synod.
Billmeier holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in management information systems from Texas A&M University as well as a master’s in theological studies from the University of Dallas. She is a licensed CPA and holds a Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies with a focus on young adult ministry.
Currently, Billmeier works from home, homeschooling her children while teaching classes for the Neuhoff Institute for Ministry and Evangelization and for the University of Dayton VLCFF Program. She volunteers with the middle school youth ministry and serves as treasurer for the American Heritage Girls troop at St. Rita Catholic Community. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in a Well-Read Mom book club and making travel plans for her family.
