Lynn Rossol was born and raised in New York City. Her family arrived in Dallas in 1976. Rossol began working for the Tejas Girl Scout Council, and moved in to parish youth ministry in 1983. She was appointed as Director of Pastoral Planning and Research in 2004 for the Diocese of Dallas and served in that role until 2016. At that time, Rossol continued working in the Diocesan Pastoral Center as the Bishop’s Delegate for Ecumenism and Legislative Advocacy, a role she continues to serve. In addition, Rossol now serves in an administrative support role on the Synod Preparatory Commission.
