Father Wade Bass is one of four children and was raised in the Presbyterian faith. His entire family was received into the Catholic Church in 2002. He graduated from Boston College with a degree in communication and entered the seminary immediately upon graduating.
Father Bass has served as a priest of the Diocese of Dallas since May 2018. He was parochial vicar at St. Monica Catholic Church from 2018-2020, chaplain and director of Catholic Campus Ministry at Southern Methodist University from 2020-2024, and, since July 1, 2024, has served as the pastoral administrator of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Allen.
